Settimio Baschieri: founder of Baschieri & Pellagri.     1885 Settimio Baschieri and Guido Pellagri begin their experiments to create a smokeless gunpowder.   1886 Introduction of ACAPNIA powder (acapnia means "without smoke" in Greek).   1891 "Baschieri & Pellagri" is officially founded.   1913 Settimio Baschieri buys out partner Guido Pellagri. Ulisse Manfredi (who had married Settimo's daughter, Maria, in 1909) joins the company.
