Powerful cartridges loaded with 4.3 and 6.2 diameter shot. Their use for hunting purposes is not allowed by the Italian law. However, wherever they are allowed, they prove very effective for long-distance shooting of large sized game (foxes, geese etc.) with 3/0 shot, while 7/0 is suitable fo r small-sized ungulates such as wild boars up to a maximum weight of 40-50 kg. They are very effective for short-range defence shooting too and are used by a few special police corps.
